Join the Virtual Rally Against VAT on Oil
Senator Roxas launched this blog and talked about a Virtual Rally against VAT on oil products during his blogger meet-up last week held at Annabel’s Restaurant in Tomas Morato. The Virtual Rally is a petition website that allows you to put an online avatar on a “cyber EDSA”. We’d like to invite everyone to join this online movement against VAT on oil. It won’t take much of your time to do so and it’s much more fun than the usual online petition.

CLICK TO JOIN THE VIRTUAL RALLY
The mechanics of the site is quite simple.
1. Go to Virtual Rally
2. Click JOIN US and input your information
3. Select an Avatar and leave a comment
Feel free to spread the word! Send the URL to your contacts, e-mail groups, friends, and relatives!
Please note that the site is still undergoing improvements. Eventually this will become a full flash-based website and you’ll be able to see the comments of all the protesters when you hover over the avatars. We’re also working on a “next page” system so you can see all the protesters in EDSA by simply clicking “NEXT”.

Why is it that pilipino’s love to go to rally or to start a rally when they disagree on something. In fact that is the reason why we alway have rally, with 80 million pilipinos there will never be a policy that all of the population will agree on. why cant the people who make use of these action for their benefit like media, media consultants etc. try to look at the positive side of things. Why is it that negativity is always visible to these people. Especially the media, Channel 2 in particular, they only broadcast negative views. a whole hour of news is all about negative. So being the “number 1″ broadcast station, what will you expect from the people, negative in then negative out.
So Mr Mar, if you think being negative is a way for you to win the election, maybe you are wrong. there are so many way to object or criticize thing and put a positive twist. Dont you think that our people deserve to here positive points of view? Enough of the negative. Give our people hope, hope to progress and encourage them to work hard and not just hope for a response SMS from deal or no deal or other game shows.
I think you can be a good president but let us not waste the votes of those who believes in you.
